Cheefarcut Purchase, Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy

To ensure a secure and seamless shopping experience for all customers, Cheefarcut provides the following comprehensive policy covering payment, order processing, delivery, returns, and warranty coverage.

1. Payment Terms

1.1 Accepted Payment Methods

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express (credit/debit cards)
  • PayPal
  • Stripe (secure checkout)
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (if supported on your device)
  • Other localized methods as shown during checkout

⚠️ We do not accept bank transfers, cash on delivery, mailed checks, or offline payments.

1.2 Payment Timing & Confirmation

  • Orders are charged immediately upon checkout.
  • A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours.
  • Orders flagged as suspicious may be reviewed, suspended, or cancelled.

1.3 Currency & Exchange Rates

  • All prices are listed and processed in USD.
  • If you pay in another currency, your bank’s exchange rate and any fees apply.

1.4 Secure Transactions

  • We use PCI-DSS-compliant gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and SSL encryption.
  • We do not store full card data at any time.

1.5 Fraud & Chargeback Policy

We may cancel orders or take legal action in the event of:

  • Stolen or unauthorized card use
  • Repeated chargebacks or refund abuse
  • Fake identities or impersonation

2. Shipping & Delivery

2.1 Order Processing Time

  • In-stock items ship within 1–3 business days.
  • Crowdfunding/pre-order items follow timelines on product/campaign pages.
  • If part of your order is out of stock, we will email you to coordinate.

2.2 Shipping Scope & Fees

  • 🌍 We ship worldwide.
  • Standard shipping: 10–15 business days (varies by country)
  • Free shipping on orders over $200 USD
  • Other fees calculated at checkout based on weight and location

Some items may require confirmation due to restrictions. We may contact you if necessary.

2.3 Crowdfunding Delivery

Follows shipping phases outlined in each campaign.

2.4 Tracking

Tracking link will be emailed once shipped. Contact us if not received.

2.5 Duties & Taxes

  • Customer is responsible for import taxes and fees unless otherwise stated (e.g., DDP included).
  • Unpaid duties may lead to loss or return of goods—we are not liable for these losses.

2.6 Address Errors or Delivery Refusals

  • Incorrect addresses, refused duties, or rejected deliveries result in customer covering additional costs.
  • Lost or destroyed items under these conditions may not be refunded.

2.7 Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Orders

Contact us if:

  • No tracking updates after 7+ business days
  • Delivery is overdue or lost
  • Items arrive damaged

3. Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident in every purchase. If you're not fully satisfied, we accept returns for both defective and non-defective items within 30 days of delivery.

3.1 Return Window

You may return any eligible product within 30 calendar days from the date you receive it.

3.2 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging

  • Include original proof of purchase (e.g., order number or invoice)

  • No signs of wear, scratches, or sharpening residue

We reserve the right to reject returned items that do not meet these conditions.

3.3 How to Return

To request a return, please email us at cs@cheefarcut.com with the following:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photo(s) of the item (for defective products)

If approved, we will provide a free, downloadable return shipping label by email. Returns are processed by mail only — please do not return items without authorization.

3.4 Return Shipping Costs

  • For domestic orders, we offer free return shipping

  • For international returns, customers may be responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated

3.5 Refunds

Once the return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 3–5 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your payment provider to post the transaction.

If you haven't received a refund within 15 business days, please contact us.

3.6 Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. Please return the item and place a new order if needed.

3.7 Non-Returnable Items

  • Used sharpeners, strops, or knives

  • Customized or engraved products

  • Consumables (e.g., oils, pastes)

  • Free gifts, giveaways, or clearance items

4. Warranty & Repair Policy

4.1 Warranty Period & Scope

  • Standard warranty: 12 months from delivery
  • Excludes: consumables, misuse, gifts/trials

4.2 Covered Issues

  • Structural failures
  • Adjustment or locking defects
  • Manufacturing issues not caused by misuse

4.3 Not Covered

  • Damage from drops, water, heat, corrosion
  • Unauthorized disassembly or repair
  • Incorrect sharpening use
  • Normal wear and tear

4.4 How to Claim

Email cs@cheefarcut.com with:

  • Order number
  • Issue description
  • Clear photo/video evidence

We reply within 3 business days with support options.

4.5 Shipping Costs

  • China: We cover round-trip
  • International: Customer covers return; we cover replacement

4.6 Additional Notes

  • Crowdfunding warranty follows campaign terms
  • Unauthorized returns will not be processed
  • We may revise this policy without notice
